Because we don't have time!
How bad is the current situation?
There are 3 main greenhouse gasses: Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrous Oxide
CO2
CH4
N2O
Humanity emits approximately 50B Tons of Carbon Dioxide every year
Half of which, around 25B Tons still gets naturally sequestered by plants, soil and the oceans
25B TONS
The second half stays in the atmosphere and causes most of our planet’s problems
Nowadays, there is unanimity regarding the fact that if earth's temperatures continue to rise, and increase by more than 1.5C, we’ll all be facing catastrophic ecological collapses
Level of Carbon Dioxide in the air:
The air we breathe is composed of several gasses. Nitrogen (78%), Oxygen (21%), Argon (1%), CO2 (0.042%), NE (0.0018%), HE (0.00052%) and more gasses in different concentrations.

Here is the change in Carbon Dioxide concentration in the air over the last 100 years:
Most scientists agree that reaching the level of 450-500 PPM (0.045%-0.05%) of Carbon in the air we breathe, will be an irreversible tipping point.
